"It's all about passion. Passion for life, passion for design." A good design facilitates and simplifies our life, achieving this way it's purpose.
The toughest and most important things in the way to a great design is to make yourself easily understood and one of the designer purposes is to make things easier and more intuitive for the end user.
Perception is, like all things, relative. What is important, is to create things which - by name, shape, color, technology - make any human understand instantly and subtle the purpose or/and the message.
A "design" is in fact a complex process of steps which must be followed in order to have the best solution at that particular time.
In my vision a good design will always be able to:
- sell the product and increase sale;
- get the intended message to you by form, color, image and text;
- help you find what you are looking for, easily (especially for web);
- place what you look for where you expect it to be;
- make you feel that the product was made to perfectly suit you (that it was made for you and your needs).
